Habitat homes are sold to partner families with a 30 year, no interest loan. There are 4 general areas of qualification:

1. Need

If you are unable to obtain adequate housing through conventional means and one of hte following is true:

Your present housing is unsafe or unstable because of problems with electricity, plumbing, heating, hadicap accessibility, structure, etc.

You have no permanent housing or you share with other families

Your current living situation is overcrowded or unaffordable.

2. Ability to pay

You must be within 30-60% of the median income in Lincoln County and be able to pay a 30 year, interest free mortgage payment.

3. Willingness to partner

All families selected for the program will perform 350 sweat equity hours for Habitat for Humanity through the building of their home. These hours can be earned on the construction site, working on current Habitat project or doing community service approved by Habitat.
